Our physician-directed skilled healthcare services are designed to meet the needs of every resident. At Larchwood Care, those needs are addressed with Physical, Occupational, Speech, and Nutritional Therapies combined with 24-hour nursing care.
Respite Care is a short-term care program designed to give family members a much needed break from the demands of caring for the chronically or terminally ill at home. Whether for a weekend or a few weeks, in Respite Care, we provide the patient with a comfortable and secure social environment and staff to meet their specific needs.
The Larchwood Care Rehabilitation Center’s comprehensive services round out our full spectrum of care. These services are provided by licensed Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapists.
Physical Therapy helps residents regain strength and mobility, manage pain or adapt to a permanent disability.
Speech Therapy assists in overcoming communication conditions such as aphasia, swallowing difficulties, and voice disorders.
Occupational Therapy helps in regaining as much independence as possible with visual perception training, upper extremity strengthening, coordination and self-care skills.
Ventilator Care including weaning helps in aiding or regaining the ability to breathe or breathe efficiently due to complicated health issues.
Larchwood Care offers on site dialysis care thru our dialysis partners to aide those residents whom need dialysis services.
